Just a Few resources (Khan and Google classroom) and an Added bonus!

Right now, there is so much information coming out on different websites to use that it is very overwhelming!  I wanted to take a moment to post some resources on how to start up a Google classroom, as well as start a class in Khan academy!
* I wanted to mention that in our district there has been a little confusion because some people have had problems with starting a new classroom.  Pressing the + button results in Google asking you to join a class instead of create.  If that is the case, create an IT ticket through school dude (eskymos.com under teacher resources) and ask to have your settings changed.  It may have been changed from teacher settings to student, and that is why it doesn't work.

Here is are some links to help you set up your Google Classroom:

How to set up a Khan Academy Classroom (You should set up the Google classroom first, because you can invite your students right from your google classroom to your Khan academy)!

Video Overview here:

Did you know you can set up other websites to link directly to your Google classroom!  This is an awesome feature because you don't have to have a bunch of usernames and passwords made up, you can literally link a bunch of websites directly to classroom and when students login to Google classroom, they can just go directly to those sites, and you can access what they completed.  Here are the top ten (according to someone else, and there are a few free and a few pay sites here):

Another one that I used often was readworks.org  It is completely free, you can assign daily reading with questions that you can grade and load to your classroom!  Super easy and lots of different subject areas that are searchable!
